Hello 2007!

What I learnt on the first few hours of 2007

1. When Ah Goh is in town, even policemen from Yishun North/South are activated.
   
2. And when Ah Goh leaves, all the many many policemen will magically disappear too.
3. A "Mass Dance" is an event where only 5% of the crowd in the huge tent are dancing. And all of them are kids.
4. To make people stay through the night, make sure the lucky draw is at the end of the whole show. And then have Patricia Mok says, "To win, you must be present to claim the prize. If not, we draw again!"
5. At 0030hrs on 1 Jan 2007, there's nothing wrong with the countdown board still displaying "02 hours to 2007"
   

Farewell 2006!

What I learnt on the last day of 2006

1. Ping pong balls are highly flammable objects. They will burst into flames if you attempt to burn them.
2. "Hawker Price Restaurant Chef" does not equate to "Good Food".
3. Having dinner near a shop that blast "Offer, offer. Special offer. Huan Ying Guan Lin. Huan Ying Guan Lin" on super continuous playback mode is a nightmare come true.
4. My irritating neighbour did not return to India for good (darn!)
   
5. If you start throwing all the cutesy and rather useless presents received over the years, you will end up with an empty drawer.
